Hotel Information
There are six room rates available (all USD):
North Wing $95/night
Premier Rooms $105/night
Poolside $115/night
Lakefront Rooms $131/night
Premier Suites $151/night
Superior Lakefront Suites $165/night

Rates are for 2 people, additional guest pays $15/night
NOTE: to be considered "in the room block" and avoid the commuter fee, you must book directly through the hotel by calling. Any bookings through third party websites or by loyalty points are considered outside the room block.

Deadline to book is October 5, 2025 (contact info@letsplayscrabble.com after this date)
Commuter fee: All players not staying at the hotel as part of the Scrabble room block pay an additional $30 US per player ($45 CDN*).
Cancellations: No cancellation penalty until 3 days before your scheduled arrival day. Within that 3 day period, if the guest cancels, they will be charged for 1 night (the deposit taken at the time of booking). This policy supersedes the public cancellation policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Josh and Kieran.
Hotel Details
Tournament room will be in the “Premier” building for Division B and lower. WOW A and CSW will be in the Club Hamilton buidling.
Parking is no cost for players
The restaurant is closed during our tournament: many local restaurants available
Free WiFi in guest rooms and playing room
All rooms have mini-fridge, coffee maker, microwave. Some rooms have kitchenettes, review the room descriptions.

Tournament Information
To accommodate all players we will be playing in two buildings. There is no player cap!
Swiss/COP pairings. WOW Division size are set at 28, smaller divisions may be merged. See cross-tables.com for current division sizes. CSW Division sizes per the CSW FAQ.
Please bring a board, clock and tiles to the tournament
We request that players pay in advance as it makes it easier for us to run this large tournament
In addition to place prizes, performance-based prizes will be given in all divisions
Prizes paid in $USD. Prize payouts $100 USD or over will be paid electronically or by check
Directors may alter tournament structure in best interest of the event, including spread Gibsonization

11:30 AM - 3:15 PM Early Bird 1 Rounds 1-4, followed by short break
3:45 PM - 6:45 PM Early Bird 1 Rounds 5-7
7:30 PM - 10:30 PM Pizza Party. Sign up to order pizza by the slice, and play Scrabble or other board games with your friends
Friday Oct 17
11:30 AM - 4:30 PM Early Bird 2 Rounds 1-5
7:30 PM - 10:30 PM Main Event Rounds 1-3. You must check in by 6:45 PM Oct 17 (or earlier)
Saturday Oct 18
9:30 AM - 1:30 PM Main Event Rounds 4-7
2:45 PM - 6:30 PM Main Event Rounds 8-11
9:30 PM - 11:00 PM Team Trivia. Participation is free. Teams up to 5 players. Cash prizes!
Sunday Oct 19
9:30 AM - 1:30 PM Main Event Rounds 12-15 (no lunch break), prize ceremony follows
